I first would like to thank you for the opportunity of serving you in the
past two years.
It’s been a great experience from which I have learned much to better serve
you in the future.
The past two year have gone by swiftly. During
the first two years of my term, I took advantage of the many training
seminars made available through the Texas Municipal League. TML offers
many educational opportunities such as City Budgets, Planning & Zoning
Issues, Economic Development, Redevelopment and Parliamentary Procedures
just to name a few.
This past February I had an opportunity to make a presentation to the AMCC
Institute (Association of Mayors, Councilmembers and Commissioners) in
Austin on behalf of North Richland Hills, sharing with them what I had
learned from the successful bond election of 2003.
Additionally, the on the job experience of my first term has taught me much
about the wants and needs of our citizens and the businesses which make up
our fine community.
